IHGF Autumn 2026: the essential visitor details

IHGF Delhi Fair Autumn runs from 13–17 October 2026, 9am–6pm IST, at India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. The organiser restricts entry to trade visitors aged 18 and above with registration or an invitation. ArtRest Noida is a three-suite art villa in Sector 105, a separate journey from the fair—not a walking-distance expo hotel.

  • Confirm eligibility and registration through IHGF before planning the trip.
  • Save the complete Greater Noida venue address and the entrance specified in your visitor confirmation.
  • Choose accommodation by your full itinerary and commute, not the word “Delhi” in the fair’s name.
  • Leave time after the fair for supplier notes, follow-up messages and rest.

When and where is IHGF Delhi Fair Autumn 2026?

The official IHGF visitor page confirms 13–17 October 2026, 9am–6pm IST, at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, Delhi NCR. These details were checked on 9 October 2026.

The name can confuse a first-time visitor: this is not a central Delhi venue. It is also different from International Trade Expo Centre in Noida Sector 62. Keep the full venue name in your calendar, driver message and accommodation enquiry. Your badge or registration confirmation should be the final reference for entrances and arrival instructions.

Who can visit, and what should you register for?

IHGF is a trade fair, not a public craft bazaar. Its visitor page specifies trade visitors aged 18+ with registration or an invitation. A traveller who enjoys design should not assume that interest alone qualifies them for admission.

Use the registration link on the official site and check the requirements for your visitor category. Keep the confirmation and any required identification with you. If eligibility, colleague badges or access to a particular programme is unclear, ask the organiser before paying for travel. Room availability and fair admission are separate decisions; confirming one does not confirm the other.

Build a sourcing plan before you enter the halls

A productive fair day starts with a short brief. What are you looking for: a material, a product category, a new supplier or a solution to an existing range? Separate essential appointments from browsing. A small team can divide categories, then regroup to compare what each person found.

Use a consistent supplier note rather than relying on a camera roll. Record the company, contact person, hall or stand reference, product, material and next action. Ask permission before photographing work. Where relevant, ask about sample availability, minimum quantities, production timelines, packaging and the evidence behind material or sustainability claims. A promising conversation is the beginning of due diligence, not its replacement.

At the end of the day, shortlist the conversations worth continuing. Send a specific follow-up—what interested you, what information you need and when you will respond—rather than an identical message to everyone you met.

Should you stay in Greater Noida or Noida?

If your only priority is the shortest possible journey into the fair, start by comparing Greater Noida options. If you also have plans in Noida and value a smaller shared-house setting, consider Sector 105 after checking routes. There is no honest one-size-fits-all “best area” without knowing the visitor’s schedule.

How should you plan the journey from Sector 105?

Check a live map using your intended arrival time, and add the final approach, parking or drop-off, badge collection and security. Repeat the check for the return journey. An off-peak estimate should not become a guaranteed commute in a booking decision.

The IHGF visitor site includes a shuttle-information link. Check the current pickup points, eligibility and timetable; do not assume a shuttle collects from ArtRest or that a past edition’s service still applies. If you choose public transport, plan the last connection to the gate as carefully as the rail journey.

For a team travelling by car, put the entrance pin, meeting point and driver contact in one shared note. Decide whether everyone is returning together. The colleague finishing an appointment late should have a workable return plan without keeping the entire group waiting.

Which ArtRest Noida suite fits a work trip?

ArtRest Noida is an art villa with three suites and shared living and dining spaces. It offers a different scale from a convention hotel: a house where a small group can pause between appointments. Check current amenities and arrangements directly rather than assuming hotel-style meeting facilities.

  • Dahlia is a ground-floor suite for guests who prefer to avoid stairs. Confirm the full access route if mobility matters.
  • Magnolia has an attached sitting room, useful when you want more separation between resting and organising the day.
  • Oleander has a garden-facing setting and covered verandah access.

Confirm occupancy, bedding, breakfast timing, Wi-Fi, parking and arrival arrangements for your dates. If travelling with colleagues, ask about multiple-room availability. Discuss any supplier meeting, outside visitors, deliveries or whole-villa request separately; a room reservation does not automatically authorise an event or commercial gathering.

A manageable three-night fair visit

Evening before your first fair day: arrive, check registration documents, save the gate and confirm transport. Charge devices and make the next morning straightforward.

First fair day: concentrate on priority appointments, then allow a smaller browsing block. Back at your stay, organise contacts while the conversations are fresh.

Second fair day: revisit shortlisted suppliers and fill genuine gaps. Keep an evening open instead of committing to another distant event after a long day on your feet.

Departure: leave room for packing, checkout and the onward journey. If you need another fair day, discuss luggage arrangements and departure timing before booking. This is a suggested structure, not an official IHGF itinerary.

Travelling with someone who is not attending the fair?

Make a separate plan rather than expecting a non-trade companion to enter IHGF. Our October Noida guide includes public cultural options and city breaks. Srijoni’s Sector 119 Durga Puja is listed for 16–21 October, overlapping only the last two fair days; check the organiser’s programme before adding an evening visit.

A quieter day at the villa and a meal together may fit better than another cross-city journey. Agree plans around each person’s interests, not the assumption that everyone needs the same schedule.

Before confirming your IHGF stay

  • Verify trade eligibility and obtain the appropriate registration or invitation.
  • Save the Greater Noida venue and confirmed visitor entrance.
  • Compare accommodation using the full trip and actual commute.
  • Agree transport and a team meeting point.
  • Confirm rooms, occupancy, breakfast, Wi-Fi and parking.
  • Ask separately about outside visitors, luggage, deliveries and late check-in.
  • Keep supplier notes and follow-up time in the itinerary.

A good fair trip leaves space to think

The useful part of IHGF does not end when you leave a stand. It continues when you compare materials, organise a contact and decide which conversation deserves another day. Confirm your access first, choose your base honestly and give the trip room for that work. If Sector 105 suits the itinerary, compare ArtRest Noida’s rooms or send an enquiry with your fair dates and team needs.
